EVENT! Katy B Concert! - Thursday 12th May

The hard beats of dubstep and drum & bass vibrated through KOKO, Camden on Thursday as Katy B took to the stage for the London leg of her first headlining tour.

The night consisted of various high energy stages with support acts P Money, Jamie George and Jagga all taking to the stage belting out their tracks leading up to the big headlining performance.
Rinse FM's DJ JJ also kept the music flowing and my feet moving (they hurt at the end of the night but so worth it!) in-between acts as the talent of these UK artist took over the building.

P Money And DJ JJ

P Money was the first to kick off the show performing his tracks ‘Slang Like This’ and many more behind his signature hard hitting dubstep beats spun by DJ JJ.

London born singer Jamie George then began stage two, singing tracks ‘Wonderful Day’ and more as the bass vibrated through the venue. This then lead on to the final support act before Katy B hit the stage, singer/songwriter Jagga

With his Afro and crazy dance moves  (He actually leap into the crowd at one point!) Jagga kept the vibes going while singing tracks ‘I Need You’, ‘Modern Day Romance’ and more to the screaming crowd.

After all that anticipation the atmosphere was electric as the crowd was roaring to see Katy B storm the stage and when she did, you were not disappointed. With her live band behind her, Katy B burst onto the stage starting off her set with tracks ‘Louder’ and her latest single ‘Broken Record’.

Once the crowd was moving their was no stopping as she danced on stage (the girl has some MOVES!) while performing tracks from her album, ‘Power On Me’, ‘Disappear’, ‘Movement’ and more. Performing her first single ‘On A Mission’ and her featured track with Magnetic Man ,‘Perfect Stranger’ she had the crowd hooked as they sang along to every word.

Then continuing the amazing set with tracks’, ‘Easy Please Me’ (my favourite line!! 'Standing at the bar with my friend Olivia' I dont know why, it just is!), ‘Why You Always Here’ and ‘Hard To Get’, Katy B departed the stage but the crowd was still wanting more.

After an encore the sound level of an airplane landing Katy B came back to finish the set with her funky tune ‘Lights On’, leaving the crowd on more of a high than ever.

It was definitely one of the best concerts I've been to so when you get a chance to go see Katy B, TAKE IT! Next tour is in October :-)
