Aubrey O’Day inks record deal with Universal

Former member of Danity Kane Aubrey O’Day has officially signed a record deal with Universal Motown/SRC.  Her label mates are the likes of Ray J, Shontelle, Melanie Fiona and more.

Aubrey currently has her own reality show "All About Aubrey" on the Oxygen network.  The show reportedly  debuted with strong ratings.

The album will contain the first promo single "Zombie", the official first single "Mirrors" and new single "Wonderland".  The album has some good music on it, hopefully this album will become a hit.

Taylor Swift celebrates selling 20 Million albums worldwide

Taylor Swift received a huge plaque from her label to celebrate her selling 20 million worldwide.

"It’s just sort of beyond my comprehension to get a plaque like that, and the fact the fans have done that much for me in such a short period of time is unreal, and I’m so excited and so thankful", she told The Associated

Her new single "Mean" has been getting radio spins, and has peaked at #24 on the Billboard Country Charts, this week.

Britney Spears performs mini-concert on Good Morning America

Here is Britney Spears first set of performances that aired on Good Morning America, to promote the US release of her new album "Female Fatale".

By watching, I don't think that Britney has it anymore when comes to performing, I think those performances was horrible.  The lip singing, I expect that from her because she's not a great singer.  When it comes to the dancing department, Brit has just lost it.  It seems to me that her performing been going down hill since the "Black Out" era.

Another thing I don't understand is that, a lot of people are praising her performances and I want to know why?

Britney announced that she'll be touring this June with Enrique Iglesias but lately its been said that he dropped out of the tour. But anyway, the details of the tour have not been announced yet.

Chris Brown new album "F.A.M.E" debuts at #1

After a week of its release and a meltdown, Chris Brown's new album, "F.A.M.E", debuts at No. 1.

F.A.M.E. has sold 270,000 copies in its first week, according to Nielsen SoundScan, but was reported by Billboard.com.

This album seems to have sold more than "Graffiti" in its first week in 2009.  Graffiti was his lowest first week  only selling 107,000 copies.  F.A.M.E is also his first album to reach the top spot.

Katy Perry scores her fourth #1 single with "E.T.

Katy Perry's fourth single "E.T." featuring Kanye West have officially hit the #1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.  The new single, "E.T.", rises 2-1 this week, ending the six week reign of Lady Gaga‘s latest single, "Born This Way".

This gives Katy’s new album "Teenage Dream", its fourth # 1 hit single, right along with "California Gurls", "Teenage Dream", and "Firework".

Beyonce finally ended her business relationship with her father

It has happened, Beyoncé has finally released Papa Knowles of his manager duties.  A statement was released by her publicist from Associated Press:

"He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly," Beyoncé said. "I grew up watching both he and my mother manage and own their own businesses ... and I will continue to follow in their footsteps."

Beyoncé has not announced a new manager yet, but it is speculated that she will join her husband Jay-Z's Roc Nation management.

So I'm wondering, without her daddy being there is Beyoncé still going to get bogus Grammy nods like "Halo" Live and recieve songwriting credits for songs that she did not help write?

Yes, the funky king is back with more fresh tunes to spice up our playlists. This is his newest track 'Check My Swagga Out' which is due for release on May 30th taken from new album Indigo Child.

Its definitely different from Party Hard, African Warrior and I but thats what we love about Donaeo. He isn't afraid to change it up but still knows how to keep it dancefloor worthy.

NEW ARTIST! - Willis Rose...

Oh Youtube does bring me little joys and gems that enlighten my music collection.

My latest discovery is unsigned singer/songwriter Willis Rose from Nottingham. He first caught my attention with his soulful R&B track 'Erase You' which could easily be the soundtrack to any messy break-up. And plus, he has an AFRO! Not that that affects his music, I just think it's cool.

I'm pretty sure this guy will be being more music joys in the future.

So clearly she's someone we're going to have to watch out for in 2011.

Sade set release "The Ultimate Collection" greatest hits album

Sade is set to release their second hits album on May 3rd.  It is titled "The Ultimate Collection" and will have all the band’s classic hits put on two CD's, it will also include three new, never-before heard songs.  Lastly, it will include a track from their Platinum selling album "Soldier of Love" called "Moon & The Sky" featuring  Jay-Z.

Sade will doing a second leg of their Summer tour to support the album.  They are going touring North America and Canada.  John Legend is one of the opening acts that joining the tour for all the dates.

This dance track is the latest from Chris Brown's album F.A.M.E featuring vocals from Benny Benassi. It's on the wavelenghts of Yeah 3x (whatta annoying name! Do you call it Yeah, Yeah Yeah, or do you actually say yeah times 3? oh gosh) but has definitely taken the dance/pop genre to the next level on this track.

And other artists seem to feel the same as you see superstars such as Estelle (Come back to Britain!), Omarion, Brandy, Tyga, Nelly, Timbaland, T Pain and many more shaking their heads to this track. Don't you love it when serious artists get a little crazy!?

My Obsession Of The Week!

Its Friday all ready!!! Its nearly the end of March and FINALLY we see some sun. Oh how I've loved not feeling the need to walk out of my house with 3 layers on. Good times indeed.

With this nice weather my mind wondered straight into thinking ITS SUMMER! So of course with the summer mindset you need an awesome track that is perfect for you to listen to while your chilling in Hyde Park with 20 of your friends. And this track definitely did that for me.

So shall we call this track my 'pre-summer' obsession? Erm yes. I think we shall!

The track is from British singer/songwriter and producer Jamie Woon titled 'Lady Luck' taken from his album 'Mirrorwriting'. It's been playing all over the radio for the past week and has had me permanently in lazy summer mood for the last 7 days.

NEW VIDEO! - Keri Hilson ft Chris Brown - One Night Stand

Well well well. If it isn't another Hilson + Brown col-lab-ora-rationnn!

You'll be pleased to know that it definitely sounds a whole lot better than there last. (Superhuman!? Ermmm boring.) Its also a video that doesn't have Miss Hilson's pelvis thrusting in my face for 4 minutes (well, it does a little bit but after all that we can't expect her to go cold turkey can we?) and the video contains a kind of Men In Black/Matrix section where they both groove it out like its a Janet Jackson video from the 1990's.

The two also match! Both rocking the blonde hair, I see a trend catching on. Anywho let's get to the details.

This is the latest single from Keri Hilson's album 'No Boys Allowed' titled 'One Night Stand', sounds hot already when in actual fact, the video was filmed in a kind of garage/car mechanic area, hmmmm? Sexy!?
