I concur, external is the way to go. Dlink and others make some relatively inexpensive external enclosures that can hold 2, 4 or more drives, depending on your budget; you buy your own drives, whatever size you want, say 2x2TB drives and configure the enclosure (not all do this) with RAID 1, that way you have redundancy if one drive fails. This is what I would suggest you look into, its not that expensive and provides lots of space and protection from drive failure. Most of these enclosures are USB, some, usually more expensive, offer firewire or network connectivity.

Reminds me of Soundsmith on the Apple IIgs. How I miss that program and all the songs I made with it.
I actually posted the link.. I purchased the software when it was in alpha stage.. I missed mod/it/xm tracking on my amiga/pc ... Renoise is the first decent tracker for the mac.
Player Pro was around .. but it was childish feeling..
i am happy that they are porting this software.
I am not a great musician, but it is fun to create with this software.

To use iFile to install a deb, here is how I do it:
Download the .deb to your computer.
Open iFile on your ipod, and click on the WiFi logo on the bottom.
A page of text will display, with a url at the end, something like "http://192.168.xxx.xxx:10000".
Enter the url into the browser on your computer.
A root directory of your ipod will appear in the browser, with an upload box.
Use the upload box to put the .deb somewhere on your ipod, like in /tmp.
In iFile, tap Done and browse to the .deb, and tap it, then tap Installer in the menu. It should then install.
Download the .deb to your computer.
Open iFile on your ipod, and click on the WiFi logo on the bottom.

Dude... I'm working in an office right now, as a web designer for a very large site. It's all in learning how to work the politics around the office and have people respect you for your contributions and talents.
yeah but you've also got to pick you battles. The website is just a small portion of what I do and this paticular part of it is even a smaller portion of it.There's other things I'd rather focus my energy on.

And will it work even if i use more than 6GB of the 8GB? Will it lag?

Okay, go to the :apple: on the top left, about this mac, more info, and give us the model identifier.
That will tell us exactly which macbook pro you have, and we'll then be able to tell you for sure how much RAM it can take.

The PC version is only $29 so the Mac version will be the same. The console version is $39 but it's still an ok price. This game is wonderful. I downloaded the demo and played it on my PC and it played like a dream.
After you complete a level you have a 'free-play' mode where you can change into different characters and walk around. It's fun being an enemy droid and sneaking past the bad guys without them knowing.
If you haven't seen screenshots or the trailer for the game I say you should look at them before you judge the game itself. At first I didn't know what to think, but after looking at the screenshots and videos I downloaded the demo right away! Heck I even submitted this story and reserved a copy of the game myself! :)

Gentle nudge + some more info.
After playing around a bit, I discovered the files are named, "MuteOnButton" and "MuteOffButton".
Still in the same folder:
"/System/Library/CoreServices/SpringBoard.app"
If anyone's able to snag these files for me from their iPad, it'd be greatly appreciated. :)

When I used to shoot weddings I did photo journalist type of photos. Doing 3 hours of posed photos would be a nightmare. ;)

I am at UConn am was thinking of going but now i hear the coop may be selling it for only $70 so I will have to look into that before driving and paying more.
Is this confirmed yet? I'm at UCONN as well and was just going to head down to WestFarms but if the Co-op will have it for $60 cheaper then I'll wait!
