SINGLE REVIEW: RIHANNA - MAN DOWN

Rihanna is in the midst of the most successful stage in her career right now.  Her album LOUD recived great reviews and is on pace to be her best selling.  The album has also gave her three #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100 in all bringing her total of number one hits to 10 making her the youngest artist to achieve this feat.  Rihanna has just released her single for the ballad "California King Bed", but has already geared up to ready her next single "Man Down" and has already shot the new video for this song.

The single "Man Down" sees Rihanna going back to her roots. The song has that Caribbean feel but not the fast hitting riddims of dancehall that Rihanna burst onto the scene with.  Man Down shes Rihanna grooving to an old skool reggae beat.  The combination of Rihannas vocals and her flow on the beat sounds effortless.  I never expected for Rihanna to make this a single as it is a far cry from the pop singles she has been releasing, but Rihanna can make anything into a hit and i see this being no different.  The single will get radio play like every other Rihanna single and help propel Loud to sell even more.  This being the fifth single from the album might be the last and its a good way to end the Loud era.  I'm sure Rihanna is already planning her next album look and ways to reinvent herself
