Video SPOTlight: Cedric Gervais ft. Mya - Love Is The Answer

The music scene hasn't seen r&b pop singer since 2007 when she released her last single and video.  Back then mya was getting set to release her album Liberation.  The album sadly was never released in the U.S.  after two failed singles "Lock You Down" ft. Lil' Wayne and "Riding".  Mya saw her peak in 2001 when she teamed up with Christina Aguilera, Pink and Lil' Kim for the remake of Lady Marmalade for the film Moulin Rogue.  After lackluster success of album Moodring in 2003 and the unrelease of Liberation mya announced that she wasnt going to be making aymore new music, but late last year a new song by producer Cedric Gervais featuring Mya titled love "Love Is The Answer" and now the video has surfaced.   The song will be featured on Cedrics upcoming album Miamication and is apart of the NOH8 campaign.  This could mean that new music and an album could be on the horizon for Mya, who was last in the spotlight during her stint on ABC hit reality competition Dancing With The Stars, or maybe this was jus a an opportunity that presented itself for Mya and she took advantage of it.  Whatever the case is this a hot dance song, which is the wave at this moment and is reminiscent of David Guetta and Kelly Rowland and that was a resurgence for her Kellys career and maybe can do the same for Mya.

The Video is basically is a expression of love and acceptance. The video also features blogger Perez Hilton which the video premiered on his website.  The website basically follows Mya as she preparing for a night out.  While also giving performance shots and Choreography.  The video spreads the NOH8 message throughout Mya is seen dancing with the gays and drag queens.  The video overall has a good feel about it that spreads a positive message although nothing groundbreaking
